Working with Norman for so many years at the Hardware Store, I had many opportunities to spend time and talk with Laverne. She was a wonderful and caring woman. May you find comfort with family members during this time of loss and know that she has found a beautiful resting place in heaven beside her husband.

Having lived only 2 houses away from Laverne and Norman for all of my childhood, they were both like a second set of parents to me in addition to the best aunt and uncle a person could ask for. I will never forget all the family picnics on holidays in our two backyards, or running errands with Norman on Saturday mornings followed by a great lunch with Laverne. She was a terrific Sheepshead player and usually ended up with all of my chips. I loved Laverne so much and will miss her even...
