Not sure what to say?

I was so sorry to learn of Lavinia's death and regret that I was unable to attend her memorial service today due to my work schedule. Lavinia was a long time friend of my entire family. As a child, I went to her home on Middleton Drive every Sat. night to watch TV and eat ice cream with her...she was truely my special adult friend. She also attended worship service with my family every Sunday night at First Presbyterian Church.
As an adult, I kept up with Lavinia for years. My...

What a pleasure it was to...

I fondly remember her tenacious bus trips from Charlotte to Jackson to visit you and her grand children and great grand children.

Her sweet disposition and lovely communications skills spoke vividly of her Southern upbringing and Christianity. Luran and I offer our prayers at this, your...

I am so sorry to learn of the death of your beloved family member. May family, friends and God bring you all comfort "God comforts us in all our tribulation that we may be able to comfort those in any sort of tribulation through the comfort with which we ourselves are being comforted by God." 2 Corinthians 1:4
