I remember LaWana from way back, when she was the only strong enough student to do "toe-tap" in our dance school. Venieta has been keeping me posted, and LaWana has been in my prayers for many months. God Bless you all in this difficult time.

My most sincere condolences to Trudi and Dolly: LaWana was one of my very favorite friends ever.

We always knew our most important job was going to be motherhood and both of us always said, "Being a mother was the best thing I've ever done." I'm sure her grandchildren knew her goodness just like her children did.

We first met in 1961 at the Siskiyou County Fair and have enjoyed a friendship all this time.
