I was saddened to hear of the passing of LaWondra. I´m praying for comfort for her family and friends. I can say that Charles A Brown and Jones Valley Magnet High School alumni were honored to know you. Gone Too Soon

As a coworker you always kept me laughing and up to date on any of the celebrity news that I may have missed. We would talk about recipes and you could always recommend some good restaurants when we had a chance to work together on nightshift over the years. As a nurse, my friend, you were one of the best! I pray for your daughter, family and friends at this time. LaWondra you will definitely be missed. Love always, Jocelyn Brown

I am heartbroken !!!!! LaWondra and I attending middle school together (CA Brown). She was a "bright spot" for me there.... That girl could make me laugh. We lost touch after middle school but I found her later cause I asked her to be a part of my wedding in 1994. She showed up for me !!! She was BEAUTIFUL inside and out.... I told her that she reminded me of Whitney Houston. Please know that I loved her and she will be sorely missed. Rest in HIS Arms LaWondra.

My heart is broken. Tears are still in my eyes...You were the first friend I met when I moved to Birmingham. We carpooled, we to performances, laughed, went out to eat, practices, church, etc. so classy, smart, talented, and the best mom I know! You are and always be missed! Prayers for family and other friends. Rest well! Love you!
