I knew him all my life; he was truly a good soul, kindly and trustworthy, a peaceful neighbor who never refused to help others. He was the father of my childhood friends, and in all the years I knew him, I never heard him raise his voice in anger to anyone, or even reprimand his children in a harsh or humiliating manner. Jesus told us that “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called the children of God.” Now, the LORD has called his beloved child...

You were the BEST Godparent anyone could have ever had. I always enjoyed going over to either the shop or the house to share some fun filled times. And of course the BEST body shop man that anyone could aspire to be! You'll ALWAYS be missed that's for sure! I lost my Father on the same date of death as you!

Mr.Sonny was an icon for this bayou ,a really good person he will surely be missed and remembered because he helped a lot of people in different ways. Rest in peace Mr. Sonny
