Today is May 5, 2013, I just found out that the best friend and man of God whom I have known and shared many moments of joy discussing the word.I would have come from Louisiana had I known to speak to share the life times we two brothers had over the years.
He was my mentor and a pastor to me.

My daughter nick named us Batman and Robin...

My heart goes out to the family. I called him Lar ... he hated it but he knew me, I did it anyway. I knew him for over 20 years. We sang together. One of the songs was "Love Lift Us Up Where We Belong" ... I believe I hear him singing it right now! His voice will be missed especially by me, but I know God is glad to have him in His choir! God bless you as you remember his impact on your life.

Brother Atkinson my prayer is that the inner strength God has given you to walk up straight as man will comtimie to assist yoi to help carry your family through this.

Larry was a good respectable youngman in the community.My prayers go out to the family of this man of God. He will be missed.

Larry told me God knows the end of the journey, but he most enjoys the road to get there. Now that your road ends, your new journey begins. See you soon, my brother.

Another good man has been called to His rest.

I'll see you later, Larry. God used you to help me at key moments when I knew you in the 1980's. You helped me stay on His Path then...thank you. Rest now in His Peace.
