Not sure what to say?

Larry and my mother dated when I was in grade school, I loved his cooking, and when he would tell me I act just like my m-o-t-h-e-r. Even after they stopped dating he still took care of us. I'll always remember him as my Dad, he always told me I was special and I would be somebody, and do important things in life. I will never ever forget him or his smile and that beautiful hair that he would let me play in and tangle without complaint. God must have truly needed you, rest in peace and keep...

It is October 12 and I just found out yesterday that Larry had died. I am sorry that none of us in Muskegon knew. I told Eddie yesterday and we are both so very sorry that Larry is gone. I hope that this somehow reaches you and please know that our hearts and prayers are with you. Love you all and wish I could see you just one more time. Your cousin,

You were a good and long trusting friend. You will be miss. A friend always, Ann

Larry, I was so shocked to hear of your passing. I will always remember the years that we drove cab together. I always enjoyed your sense of humor even when you were grouchy, which was most of the time but I could see that you had a very kind heart. I will miss you always.

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

I was so shocked to learn of Larry's passing. I met Larry when he picked me up on several occasions while he was driving the cab we became good friends. My prayers are with you and your family I know your loss is great!

I will always remember Larry when
he was a little grouchy I could get
him to smile which was pretty hard to do when he was in one of his moods ask anyone!

I pray that God will give you His
peace and strength in the days ahead.

To the Blackmon & Portrum Families,
May you find comfort in God's promise of life everlasting.Iv'e known Larry since I was a little girl in Allegan, and for the last 39 years here in Kalamazoo. His presence will be missed.
