Not sure what to say?

Larry was a great friend and high school classmate. He has been gone for 10 years, and is still missed. A bit ironic, but I am currently reading his Introduction to the Old Testament.

Fr. Larry was one of the most humble, kind, gentle priests I ever met. He was brilliant but kept a low profile. I enjoyed many dinners with. He helped to promote my books.
His laugh was infestious. His Priesthood made my priesthood better.
May he pray for us from his place in heaven.

Fr. Boadt was a wonderful teacher...He made learning about the Bible so wonderful. He was frequent guest at the Westchester Spiritual Center.I am so sorry that i could not attend his funeral Mass, just to say "Thank YOu " for your wonderful service.....with eternal gratitude...ronsmith

Thank you Father Boadt for a life dedicated to leading us through into a deeper understanding of the Hebrew Scirptures. You have touched so many through your books, and have gifted us with an enduring legacy. You are in our prayers, hearts, and lives, as we stand as witnesses to the living Word.

Godspeed Fr. Boadt....you truly were a man touched by God's own hand. I am forever grateful that I had the opportunity to learn from you....

Larry gave the Hartford Catholic Biblical School more than we can ever express. He lived and taught God's Word, bringing the Scriptures to life in ways that inspired all of us--students, faculty and administration alike. Thank you, Larry. We miss you.

Thank you Father Larry for leading us through your books and lectures to a deeper appreciation of Scripture. We loved the twinkle in your eye as you signed our tattered copy of Reading the Old Testament and said you loved to see your book so marked up and used. We treasure your friendship and ask you to please pray for us.
