Not sure what to say?

Many, many years ago I was an RN in the Oncology(medical) unit at Hillcrest Baptist Hospital & saw Dr. Canning nearly every day. He was a delight! Way before cell phones (1975-1980) his office would call to request that he call them so "Dr. Canning, please call your office" So he would call and always say "Hello, office? " I was often the charge nurse on my shift, so when he came in he wanted a report on each patient, changes orders from yesterday, etc. so I was always prepared with any new...

He took excellent care of my mother Mary Patton for many years. He was an awesome doctor. Never to be forgotten. I´m sure he is now with many of his patients.

He was my professor at medical school, it's very sad to know that he is no more. I always wished to meet him again in my life. He will be missed and loved always! May God bless his soul!

I love this obituary. I knew of Dr. Canning and certain of Rebecca. Waco owes a lot to them.

Since then Larry has been my friend with whom I often sent emails back and forth and after I moved to the US, through...

Single Memorial Tree

That's how the International Office at Baylor matched two of us. Since then, we became close friends for over twenty three years. Larry introduced me to art and history. One of the first museums he brought...

Dear Larry, Paul told me the sorrowful news of your untimely passing. Even though we haven't seen each other for over twenty years, I wish to let you know that you have always lived in my most precious memories, and you wil always do. Rest in peace, my old friend. I will miss you.
