Larry and I shared the love of music and the guitar. He was the most talented guitarist in our downtown Jersey City neighborhood. We traded amplifiers, he got my Marshall stack, and I got his Fender Super Reverb. In fact, the great guitarist Mike Bloomfield plays out of the Super Reverb when we played in Boston.
