I had the pleasure of making Larry's friendship after my parents moved into the apt across from Larry's at RW. He and my son Kevin '19 were both alumni of St Ed's. We always talked encouraging and victoriously about St Ed's football. He had such a great smile when he wore his SEHS State Championship tshirts we made sure he received the past three years. I was Larry's team mate on the 1955 St. Edward Eagles football team. He was a star, pound-for-pound, the best lineman in the history of Eagles' football. I was his back-up and had a ringside seat to witness his greatness. In addition to his grit and physical prowess, Larry was the ultimate team mate. I moved away from Cleveland after high school and didn't see Larry for many years. However, each time we saw each other at reunions, the comradeship was like 1955 again. I wish the Cobler...
