Not sure what to say?

We were Larry and Florence's nest door neighbors for several years at Currier Woods in Cheshire, CT. It didn't take long for me to realize that Larry was an individual of a higher quality and intelligence than I had any reasonable expectation of ever meeting. I consider our brief acquaintance one of the great privileges of my life.

Dear Florence, Larry Jnr. and Family,

I heard this evening belatedly that Larry had passed away earlier this year. He was certainly an inspiration for me and during those early days at LPL and later Amphenol I gained much from his business acumen and attention to detail. I certainly have missed those many convivial encounters around both the Board and dining table, and I will remember him with fondness, admiration and appreciation.
My best to you and all the family .

As I dropped my daughter off at Boggy Creek this week, I thought of Larry Sr. who I met in business in the late '90's at the conversion of the IBM Facility in Boca. I saw his genius and business ability, but never knew of his philinthropic side until reading about his involvement at Boggy Creek. My daughter gained much from her time there and it gave me a different kind of respect for Larry. My Prayers go out to his family and to my memories of him which left me the greatest respect for him.

Dear DeGeorge Family,

Larry’s staggering intellect was only surpassed by his legendary humanity. To have been in his presence could only make one a better person. Heaven has a new Board member and the Chairman of the Board is in high spirits knowing of their shared values.

May God bless Larry and your extraordinary family.

Florence, Larry and Peter - my old friend Larry (Sr) was a good mentor to me. I sold him his company (Time Fiber) back from Insilco and Peter bought Miles Homes from Insilco. I have thought about him a lot lately and I was truly sorry to hear of his passing. My sincerest condolence to you all.

To Florence and Family: What a beautiful man and a beautiful life. We give thanks to God for his life, his kindness to others and the time that he was here on earth.
