DeWitt, Lawrence F. Sr. Age 70, of Shorewood, lost his courageous battle with cancer on Oct. 2, 2007. Loving husband, father and grandfather. Survived by wife, Donna DeWitt; sons, Larry Jr. (Darcy) DeWitt, Doug (Crystal) DeWitt and Jeff (Tricia) DeWitt; 8 grandchildren; sisters, Germaine DeWitt and Sandra Haycraft; many extended family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, Oct. 6, 2007 at 11 AM at St. Victoria Catholic Church, 8228 Victoria Drive, Victoria MN 55386 (952-443- 2661). Visitation Friday 6-9 PM, with prayer service 7:30 PM at Huber Funeral Home, 520 2nd Street, Excelsior. Visitation also one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church. Private family interment. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Nebraska Lymphoma Research Program, c/o Dr. James Armitage, 987630 Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, NE 68198 or the St. Victoria Catholic Church New Sanctuary Building Fund in memory of Larry DeWitt. Donna and family,
Larry will be greatly missed this fall. He so loved the hunting in South Dakota and we loved the joy he received from his hunting trips. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. He left behind a lot of fun memories. He will be missed.

Dear Donna, Larry , Doug, Jeff;
I am sad to learn of your husband/fathers passing. I to lost my father this July and am comforted by all the good memories I have of him. I will remember Larry in my memories growing up with all of you in Edina and all the times we shared together be it at the house around the kitchen table or out on the lake on the boat. I am thinking of you all right now, and I want you all to know your in my heart and I will say a prayer for all of you.
