Not sure what to say?

The Larry I knew was a quiet soul; a family man. He took my best friend into his warm circle at a time when Kate was thirsty for his comfort and companionship. They cared for each other in a layered relationship; and are so very lucky to have met for the 8 or so years they had together.......Larry, so generous.

I am so sad to hear of Larry's death. Friends like Larry don't just happen...they are works of art....I am proud to have known him, worked with him and called him in the middle of the night to tattle on someone in the home....Larry made me grow up ....he made me who I am today in the workplace..I am ever so thankful to have met him early in my life...Larry, you were way too young to leave us...you must have something very important to do that you've been called upon like this....I miss you...

I worked with Mr. DiStefano at the Ohio Department of Youth Services. He was a wonderful person with a big heart. He will truly be missed.

We knew Larry through our employment with the DFY. He was a great fixer of everyday problems. He was a very creative person and had a great sense of humor. We smile when we think of him. We are sorry for your loss.

The snow keeps us away from Binghamton tomorrow, but our thoughts are with Larry, his family and friends. He maintained a very compelling and professional DFY connection with my Assembly office, he was the campaign volunteer who simply never quit, and he was a dear friend to me, Norma, and our sons. While we feel his loss deeply, the mention of Big Larry brings a very big smile.

For many years Larry and I were friends and colleagues on the Region's Criminal Justice Advisory Board, which he chaired until he retired from the DFY. We survived many breakfasts at the Park Diner, countless meetings and trips to Albany, as well as a number of great parties. I will always miss Larry's great sense of humor and boundless energy. He will be missed by all of us who knew him.

Larry was a district supervisor for DFY when I met him. On the occasions he would come to my office, he'd sweep in with a definitely positive presence and give advice on how to enhance the office. I agree with your former next door neighbors--he was an organizer--and a really good guy. My condolences to his fiancee and kids.

Dear LD,
We are so sorry to hear of your loss and our thoughts and prayers are with you.
