Not sure what to say?

Dick & Larry,
There are no words I can express that can diminish the pain and loss your family is feeling at this time but, know that his work advanced the fire service especially in fire investigations. He set the standard for all to follow through his teachings and by his example. It was always a joy and education to work a fire scene with him. He was a great listener and influence in my career. God Bless

Richard, Billianne and Family:

Richard I am sorry to hear about your Dad. Another great stalwart of the Fire Marshal's Office has passed on. Whether his death was expected or sudden, I know from experience you are never ready for their death. Please accept my sympathies.

Dick & Billiann:

Read with sorrow of your Dad's passing in the KJ. Our condolences on your loss.

Richard, Billianne & Family
My thoughts are with you during this time. My sincere condolences.

My favorite memories with Grandpa are: Playing cars, washing dishes, rocks and shells, Waldo books, TinkerToys, playing around in his office.I will miss him very, very much!

It's been many years since seeing Mr. Dolby but I do remember interesting conversations with him. My sympathy to you all. I will be thinking of you during this very difficult time.

Mr.Dolby was very well known for his great wisdom of FIRES. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.I am a City of Saco Firefighter and have always looked up to him. It was not to long ago my Captain and I went to his home and helped with installing a new smoke detector,he felt the one he had was not working well.He still had his great since of humor. All of us at Saco Fire want you all to know your in our thoughts. Regards Dave Peters

Lawrence T. Dolby

Please accept my condolences at this sad time. I knew Lawrence through the fire service and he was instrumental in my interest in fire investigation. I attended many classes and informal sessions with him during my time at the Wells Beach Fire Station.
He will be greatly missed.
