Not sure what to say?

I had the good fortune of knowing Larry through Elementry and High School. He had the special gift of standing out in a group and usually finding the best solution to a problem.

Although we haven't met in many years I have thought of Larry and remembered some of our school days on many ocassions.

Rest in peace Larry.

My sincerest sympathy to the Donahue Family.

Larry was a great friend and shipmate at the Maritime College. He always seemed to see the humorous side of any circumstances, no matter how dire they seemed at the time. Except for the sad news this past week, any recollections of him over the years brought a smile. Sincerest sympathy to Vida and family.

Captain "Larry Donohue" former XO TS EMPIRE STATE V & long time MM&P member - he was there for me (as well as others) from training ship; my first day in union Hall and as MMP dispatcher represtative.
A guiding light in my career.

Captain Steven E Werse

My sincere and deep sympathy to Vida and her children and grandchildren on the loss of their dear one. Larry was my little cousin who was dearly loved by all of us but most especially by his grandmother, Anne Clifford Donohue, who believed he was a very special gift to our family. Everyone agreed with her! May his soul rest in peace.
