My condolences. He was a very kind man. He and Richard Amelar looked at my case in the mid-1960s and operated. It didn't help. But these two men got me through a very sensitive moment in my 20's and in my marriage. In the end, a divorce. In the end, a second marriage to a woman with three children that has lasted 42 years and a family created in a different way. Dr. Dubin helped make this possible. All these years later I remember him as a good guy.

We were fortunate to know Larry and Reggie for decades. They are wonderful friends, and Larry was a very supportive colleague of our late husband and father, Dr. Alvin C. Weseley. A visit to the Dubin's home was always a treat. We appreciated their warmth and hospitality, and the generosity with which they shared their interest in art. We always met the most interesting people chez Dubin. Dr. Dubin's passing feels like the end of an era, and he will be terribly missed. Our sincere...
