Not sure what to say?

I was so sad to hear of Larry's passing when I asked about him at Costco today. It was a pleasure to have known him. My sympathies to the family. He will be missed.

What a shock when I learned that Larry's smiling face, Larry's signature "HELLO! How are you?" has been silenced forever at the Enfield Costco. He was more than a Costco greeter, Larry was everyone's friend and he took an interest in everyone who took an interest in him. I just assumed when I visited Costco that I would see his smiling face or that he was not working that shift. Sandra Hassim and I both learned of Larry's passing at the same time and I think it numbed us both. They loved...

Linda, I am beyond saddened an shocked to hear this news.
Since I hadn't been that active on FB I was not getting Larry's
messages. Truly sorry for your loss and feeling your pain as Joe
passed in May of 2016 . Five weeks after being diagnosed with Stage
four cancer . We have such great memories of our younger days
at Hamden East . Love, prayers and sincerely condolences.

We went to Costco today, looking forward to conversing with Larry on stocks and politics, a conversation we enjoyed for years. We exchanged our thoughts on a good stock to buy or whether we should hold onto money. We learned from Larry and hopefully it was reciprocated. Prior to my brother's death, he went daily to Costco to converse with Larry about the same topics as Jim was a stock broker. Larry periodically discussed how he missed Jim and their talks. We were shocked, and saddened to...

As a member of the Thursday night dinner crew and the Saturday morning coffee club, I will tell you that Larry will be greatly missed by his many long-time friends and many more passing acquaintances. It's amazing to me exactly how many people Larry touched!! He always donated candy and came to all the fundraising dinners for West Spfld Unico for the special needs kids they help. He donated candy to the kids at St. Mary's Parish School in Westfield. If he could think of a way to help...

We are longtime Costco customers, who always marveled at Larry's ability, by his presence alone, to transform a big box store into a warm and welcoming place to shop.
"How are ya'?" Our day was made because a man we knew so little about, seemed ever ready with his winsome smile and pure heart, and made us believe we mattered.
We offer our sincerest condolences to each member of the Dunn family, and pray your overwhelming loss is soften by the memories you hold dear.

Larry always made us smile as we were greeted at Costco in Enfield. He never failed to ask after our daughter and of course our fur babies. He always made us chuckle about something. We will miss his lovely smile and friendly way. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family at this sad time. Kathy and Bob Gray
