Larry was a class act and I don't think there was a topic that he couldn't discuss intelligently. I always looked forward to chatting with him about current events or the latest developments in the Far East. He could be relied on for any task. I can only imagine your sadness because I have nothing but tears as I write this note. Your dad was such a wonderful man who was a big part of our childhood and was very supportive with my parents in their final years. I can't imagine that I will no longer see him gardening in the yard when I drive along Greenbrook Road. Larry was a true gentleman. Very dedicated to the John Basilone parade committee. He was very efficient and accurate and a definite asset to the success of the Basilone weekend. He will be missed by all on the parade committee .
