Not sure what to say?

My apologies! I didn't feel real pert--laid on couch to take a nap prior to the funeral and woke up @ almost 11 AM... Didn't know him personally really well, but it was eay to feel the love and concern for him locally here in Silver City! What an accomplished man he was and his knowledge was enormous! Some people are just so big in life! Our thoughts and prayers for all and may God be with you in your time of grief and always...

We want to express our sympathy to the family. What a wonderful, caring and knowledgeable person! Working with Larry on a project in the early 90's was a real joy. We will miss him but we have memories to hold on to. Ed and Ginny Ensz

I am grateful for Larry's life in 2 ways. My dad, Russ Garry, was one of his SDSU students in the late 40's, when he was teaching the young farmers going to school on the GI bill. My dad was grateful for his education. I met Larry in person in Silver City, as one of his neighbors in that peaceful valley. I appreciate he and MarGee's friendliness. May God grant them joy in paradise.

I knew him for only a moment, but in that moment he made a lasting impression on my heart. My sincerest condolences to the whole family -- I know he will be deeply missed.

Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. What a special man he was. We will miss him. He has impacted our lives more than you may or may not know. We feel blessed to have been part of Larry and MarGee's life. We will treasure the talks and cribbage. Please call if we can do anything at all. May God give you strength to get through this very difficult time.
Sincerely, Joseph Leichtnam Family

To the Family of Larry Fine,

I extend my deepest sympathy to you all. Larry was one of the most caring, generous, and kind individuals I have ever met. I always enjoyed listening to his stories and his insight into the physical sciences, especially soil science, on our trips to the Professional Soil Scientists of SD meetings. He was extremely intelligent but was very humble and was always interested in your thoughts. We have lost a great man and he will be greatly missed.

Ozzie & Bev Osheim and staff offer our sincere sympathy in the loss of your loved one.
