Not sure what to say?

Dear Forman family,
It was an honor and a pleasure to have known and been asssociated with Larry. He was a mentor and a friend during my initial years at Firestone, starting with my hiring into Firestone Research in 1950. My wife and I have fond remembrance of Larry as a kind, considerate and devout family man.

Dear Mary and Don,
I'm so sorry to find Larry's passing. I give my regards to everyone this man was a one of a kind. I met him at Briarwood, and he was so kind. He changed my life and gave me self worth. I will forever miss him. I have pictures from Christmas of him with my kids he just seemed to make everyone smile. And I can't forget his favorite saying "Your the Gem of my ocean". I love you Larry you're truely God's creation. Sincerely, Tina

I first met Larry when I intervied at Firestone Research over 40 yrs ago; at this time he made a lasting impression on me. My talk with him was a major factor in my taking the position at Firestone. Over the years that we worked at the same location I didn't have any official dealings with Larry but he was always somebody to consult with about many things and I knew he was interested and supplied good advice. I will always remember Larry and know the world was a better place for him having...

Dear Mary, and family, I was so sorry to hear that Larry had past away, I am glad I was able to know him and I will miss visiting him every day. Cecelia

I first met Larry as a young Technician at Firestone Research in 1967. Larry was a fine Chemist and more importantly a wonderful gentleman and mentor. To this day I use one of Larry's favorite comments, "Remember things could go on like this for weeks, and then get worse!" To those of you who knew Larry, you understand that this was not a pessimistic comment, but rather, that one should appreciate the things in life that they have. I shall miss him, and feel enriched that he was part of my life.

Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.

My condolences to the family. I knew Larry well as a member of the Akron Section of the American Chemical Society and valued his advice when I was chairman of the section. He was always friendly.

Deepest sympathy in the passing of your dear father who through the years has been admired, respected, and loved by us all. May you find peace in the wonderful memories of his long life.
