We also washed pots and pans for our meals at a Girl's sorority house - and Sue traveling with my wife Laura different times from Joliet to Champaign. Larry and I led professional lives at our home towns and didn't see one another the remaining years. I'm sorry being so late in seeing Larry before his passing. I'll miss him. Sue and the entire Grant family, my heartfelt condolences to you for the loss of that dear man in your lives. He leaves you with a rich legacy that will last forever. With loving thoughts and prayers, Geri McGinn

Larry always had a smile on his face and made you feel welcome. He was a great guy and a baseball guy! Can´t beat that legacy! God´s Blessings to the family.

Send condolences and much love to the entire Grant family. I only know Mark Grant from being a Padres fan but have no doubt that his father was a "good egg" too. Hugs, buddy.

So sorry to hear this. A good man and a great guy. Our loss is heaven's gain. Praying for all of the family.

I'll miss Larry - what a great architect and baseball devotee through his career.

We knew you thru St. Judes. Sorry to see of your passing. Thinking of the family.
