Not sure what to say?

I was a young man in Colorado when I met Larry. He was a rep for Lawee inc. I was determined to open a bicycle shop. Larry taught me more than I can recount. I am happy that he did get a chance to raise longhorn cattle, I sold out an moved on before he did. Would have liked to visit with him then. RIP my friend.

Larry was a good friend I knew from the National Guard (fellow officer) and as a bicycle geek. We were members of the Portland Wheelmen and both served a time as president. Hal Lesser

I am sorry to hear of Larry's death. Our families go way back. My grandfather bought my first bicycle from his father in 1947. I am missing my Montavilla friends.

I am saddened to read of the passing of one of my best friends in childhood. my first bicycle came from hook's cyclery. we spent many hours together playing ball and running around the neighbor hood til the 7th grade when I moved away. we lived two houses apart on s e 76th and ash street. we later bought bicycles from larry for my children. then lost touch when he moved Colorado. I wish to express my sincere condolonces to larry's family.
