Lawrence "Larry" Peter Houle Lawrence "Larry" Peter Houle, 53, passed peacefully on August 14, 2013 surrounded by his loving family after a courageous journey with ALS. He was the adored husband of Katherine "Katie" (nee Ambrose) for 31 years and the devoted father of Kristen, Jennifer (Jacob) Stinger, and Thomas Houle. Larry was born on August 19, 1959 and was the loving son of Richard and Patricia (nee Brausch) and the dear brother of Rich (Nancy), Steve (Jane), and Anne Houle. He was the cherished son-in-law of Lew and Angela (nee Aschenbrenner) Ambrose, and beloved brother-in-law, uncle, and friend to many. He graduated from Loyola University with a B.S. in Marketing in 1981 and had a lifelong career in technology business development. His passion for life and acceptance of living one day at a time were inspirational to many. Visitation Monday 3 to 8 PM and Tuesday 9:30-10:15 AM followed by a 10:30 AM funeral Mass, both held at Holy Family Parish, 2515 W. Palatine Road, Inverness. I am so sorry to hear about your loss! I just learned of Larry's passing today. I worked with Larry at Emerging Solutions and he had a great personality and truly did believe in taking one day at a time.
