Not sure what to say?

Uncle Lawrence.....I'll see you at the Cross-Roads of Life....Like Uncle Leon Once Said....Turn the page...Bury the Mann...And Continue the PLAN...ARTHUR LEON WHITE..."The Greatest Mann Alive"

You will be missed by so many people. You were loved by so many. Our family was family. My heart goes out to all and especially my girl Joyce. Love Mildred Tinye Alcorn and family.

Lawrence was a role model before the term was popularized. He, Ernest Robinson, and Floyd Theus strongly influenced my efforts as a student-athlete at the 'Velt. I still marvel at the little known fact the he easily beat me by a good margin in a race around Gleason Park one summer day-- after I had begun my studies at Northwestern. How did he do that? My earnest prayer is that his survivors will be comforted and uplifted by their memories of his comet-like brilliance and his lovingkindness,...

To Joyce,

With our deepest sympathy for the passing of your beloved brother, Lawrence. Thoughts from your '62 'Velt Classmates are with you as you go through this difficult time.

SORRY TO HEAR OF THE LOSS!! THE GIBSON FAMILY WOULD LIKE TO EXPRESS OUR DEEPEST SYMPATHY. THE {JETS} ON DUMBAR COURT ACROSS FROM ATTUCK STREET.

God Bless you Uncle Lawrence - Rest in Peace . Loving you always ~

Desiree, you have my condolences, and to the entire Jones family, your classmate Ivan Jones Roosevelt High School 1982.

joyce, lawrence was and is one of my heroes
forever.

In life, some rain may fall but the sun will come to take away the darkness and shine in the brightness of light upon your hearts again. May the company of your friends allow you to remember fond memories and sustain you in strength during this time of bereavement. It is my prayer that the peace of God which passes all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
