I would have gone to hell and back with you as my leader. My best years working on NPFD were on your shift. You trusted me, and gave me the space and freedom to become a medical professional as well as a firefighter. You were like my brother, friend, and mentor. Although we have not seen each other in a while, I wanted to write and express our sorrow. Larry was such a special person that no words are really adequate. He brought pleasure to all he came into contact with and will be very sadly missed.
