Larry was a fun friend and great guy!

Larry Laxson was a great personal friend for many decades. We met at the Colorado Springs Police Department and had the opportunity to work together in several units over the years. I often joked about him being a "renaissance man" - someone who knew a great deal of many subjects, and someone who could apply that knowledge. Whether it was cooking, baking, construction work, electrical work, building aircraft, or flying them, he was truly amazing. At one point, he and I traveled to Ft....

I worked for the Laxon family at Dunkin Donuts on Colorado Ave Larry was our manager,he is my Daughter Amy God Father and her Dad and him were best friends! We had some fun times the best and worst was our trip to Casa Bonita we didn't make it crash boom but we were alive thanks to Larry's defensive driving ! My heartfelt sympathy is with his Family at this time ! God Bless Rest High Larry!

I remember our PD helicopter and Larry's ability to help control a scene so well with the chopper. There's nothing like support from the air, right? Larry, we love you and thank you for your contributions. Godspeed my friend.
