Chicopee- Lawrence T. Lessin, a lifelong resident of Chicopee, passed away at his home on October 21, 2024, with his family at his side.  One of five children to the late Eileen (Britt) Lessin and Jan W. Lessin, Sr., Larry was born in Springfield on March 15, 1949.  He was a graduate of Chicopee High School and worked as a CNC Machinist at Savage Arms in Westfield.  Larry was a proud member of the National Rifle Assoc.  He was a self-taught guitar player, enjoyed fishing, going for a ride on his Harley Davidson with his friend Brian, and looked forward to going camping with his kids and grandkids every summer.  Larry leaves his wife of 35 years, Anna M. (Barczynski) Lessin, their children, Tina B. Gauthier, Rebecca J. Lessin, Lisa Machnacz and Joseph R. Machnacz; two brothers, Jan w. Lessin, Jr. and Michael J. Lessin, a sister, Mary L. Peczka, and his fourteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, and his dear friends Howie and Brian.  In addition to his parents, Larry was also predeceased by his brother, Joseph F. Lessin in 2021.  Friends and family are invited to gather for a Funeral Mass at 10:00am on Monday, October 28, 2024 at Mary, Mother of Hope Parish, 840 Page Blvd., Springfield, followed by committal services in Calvary Cemetery, Chicopee.  Corridan Funeral Home has been entrusted with handling the arrangements.  www.CorridanFuneral.com
