We regret we were in New York City during the time of the Memorial Service for Pastor Lewis. We have known this gentle giant for many years. Because of our missionary service we connected with Pastor Lewis. He had opportunity to go to places in Africa that the tourists never saw. Walking up mountains in Burundi, sharing the Word in Uganda, are just a few of the challenging places in which he ministered. My condolences to you Carolyn, I know its a sad time for you, but JOY comes in the morning and the Lord will fill your heart whith gladness. I will miss my Father-In-Law. The good family times, the talks, the trips to Raleigh, the tent meetings, the bowling where he always tried to beat me, but most of all I will miss his heart, because dad had a big heart for all.
