Not sure what to say?

When I first began in the broadcasting industry, Lawrence was instrumental in helping me secure a tower site and other facilities in Clarksdale. I will always have a special place in my memory for him. J Boyd Ingram

My condolences to the Magdovitz family. I always enjoyed chatting with Mr. M when I would be working on various technology issues at his office in Memphis and will miss those talks.

I would like to offer my deepest condolences for your loss. May your family find peace and comfort in knowing sickness, pain and death will one day be gone for this has been promised.

I was shocked and saddened to learn of Larry's passing. Just a few months ago I talked to him and he seemed perfectly fine. I never knew of his illness. We spoke of one of his U S Post Office here in Grover, Missouri, down street from where I live. Larry had accomplished much during his life time; his achievements are outlined in his obituary. A true self-made man! I am proud to have known him and had him as a fraternity brother.

My wife, Jane and I send our deepest condolences to...

I was a fraternity brother of Larry (and his older brother Jerome) at Vanderbilt in the late 1950s. In 2009, fifty years after our graduation, our fraternity class began having reunions, which Larry always attended. The last one was in October in Nashville, where Larry regaled us with his landlord adventures. We'll all miss him at the next one.

So much time. So many memories. A life so quickly gone. To say Lawrence was unique would be an understatement for a man who was such a presence to those of us with whom he interacted. He was dedicated to his work and had an uncanny memory and ability to find information despite his filing system which involved laying things down wherever he finished with them. He will be missed by many of us. God bless you all in this time of grief.
