Thinking of you all with many fond memories.

GP what an amazing man you were. There was never a sporting event as kids that we did not see you there cheering us all on. And you continued your love for watching the kids and sports all the way to your great grandchildren. You could always take a drive past the river and there you would be enjoying the view and walking your dog. What a wonderful life you lived with an amazing family. We will always remember your smile and your huge heart. May you now rest in peace, and watch your loved ones...

McDade's and Smith's,
Grandpop always put a smile on my face! I will remember him as not only a funny man, but a great family man. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. GP is now your guardian angel.

I grew up down the street from the McDades and have known the family probably since 1958 or so. Larry Jr and I were born on the same day in the old Salem Hospital. Christmas Eve 2009

Where do I begin with you guys... I have recently walked this road and know exactly where you are. Please know that I am here 24/7 for anything that you need. That being said, I hope you know how special he was to me. He used to come into our shop regularly to chat or for a hug or even to bring me a little gift. We talked about boats, cameras, family and life in general. I loved that guy. I know the more recent times have been tough for him and for you. After I felt how frail he was on...

I can't express the sadness I feel to hear about Larry's death. But the fact that I did get to know him and spend some time talking, joking and sharing old stories and memories with him when he stopped by the garage will keep Larry's memory in my heart and mind for a long time. Missed but never forgotten,May God bless you Larry.
