Lawrence James McNabb

I knew Larry when he was at Vinton / Shellsburg High School during the Addition to Washington High School building. Also when we would sit by him at St. John the 23rd. for Mass. He always had a kind word and smile. May the good Lord in his mercy give you the strength to get through this trying time. Please accept our heartfelt condolences.

Mr. McNabb was my teacher my coach and my very good neighbor shortly after Keith and I were married. Our sympathies go out to Dee and Amy and all the family.

Dear Dee, I am so sorry to hear that Larry has passed. I was very fortunate to work closely with him when I was President of the Monticello School Board. He was a brilliant superintendent who was thoughtful, fair, and always honorable. He brought real class to his position and left our schools in much better shape than he found them.
