Susan, Clyde & I are so sorry to hear of Larry´s passing. What a loss for you & your family & the island. His kindness, generous spirit and avid conservation work have truly been an inspiration. I pray for comfort.

I was honored to help care for him and you, sweet Susan, as you grappled with losing him. My heart goes out to you and all of those he touched. Nurse Paige*

Dear Susan, I knew Larry from many years at MUSC. He was an important contributor both in research and teaching. And I so enjoyed seeing both of you at chamber music events over the years. My best to you and the family. Rosalie

Dear Susan and Family, My heartfelt condolences to you and yours. I will always have fond memories of Larry in his IOP basement lab where he helped so many of us get started and progress in our research. We missed him when he retired and hope his running spirit will continue to inspire others on Sullivan's Island.

Susan, I was so sorry to hear of Larry's passing. I met both of you when Stan and I first moved to SI. Both of you made us feel welcomed and we enjoyed seeing y'all riding around in your cart. Know you are in our prayers and thoughts. Kindly, Barbara Pringle Claypoole

Susan, I am so very sorry about your loss and a loss for the island.

Susan, my condolences to you and your family. Larry was a man of integrity, in his academic career and in his support of the environment. Sullivan's Island has lost a powerful force for the protection of its natural resources, especially the maritime forest.

Dear Susan, so sorry for your loss. It was my pleasure to have known Larry for over 40 years. His efforts to conserve Sullivans Island will live on forever . Rest in Peace
