I just found this page explaining what your father did in his life. I'd like to send your family my belated deepest condolences. He was an extraordinary man.

Dear Robyn, Jeff, Alison, Chris & Barry. My deepest sympathies to you and your families. Larry was such a special man. Always interested in others and always present. You knew you had his complete attention any time you spoke with him and his laugh, smile and sense of humor were always on display. A huge loss, no doubt, but a life well lived. He will be missed. My thoughts are with you.

The loss of a Father no matter what age is very difficult. Your Dad had impressive careers and a long satisfying life. While I did not him personally I mourn for the loss of a fellow Veteran.
