I have remarkable and happy memories of Larry who oversaw and worked with my wife on a DMA in composition at the University of Maryland. The events in all our lives came to us at a rapid-fire pace in those days, and his wisdom and practical style allowed us a full and wonderful memory.

May his memory be for a blessing. What an astonishing man. I was privileged to sing in the same chorus for several years, and we sang one of his compositions. Best wishes to Ruth.

I grew up across the street from Larry and he was a great friend though all those growing up years. It is a joy to see the beauty of his later life.

Great memories of Mr. Moss (sorry, still can't call him Larry) from the times spent with Jon and friends at their house. I was always impressed that he was willing and able to read Finnegan's Wake - one sentence of which made my brain hurt. He and Graydon raised a great family, and he's left a wonderful legacy for the world. Rest in peace.
