My father was a great man, devoted to my mother and to my brother and sister and myself
And also to the organisations he was involved with and the great way he could involve people and organise the work he would do
He was the policeman who led the search for the Prime Minister, Harold Holt who drowned of the Victorian Coast
He was a man to look up to, he had a presence that gave me the feeling that all would be well - and he would be waiting for me - whatever...
