Not sure what to say?

We just heard of Sonny's passing today, 2/1/05. David worked with Sonny at the Engine plant. I met Sonny and Nell through David. Sonny was a fine man and glorified his Lord in his daily walk. We send our sympathy for Nell and those that will miss him greatly...It will be a great reunion in Heaven someday. Know you are all in our prayers...

I have known Lawrence all my Life. I only saw him at the Osmon Reunions at Bald Knob, the last few years. His family was my family as I were close to them. I want to remember him as an Osmon and the things that he has always stood for. May his childeren carry on the things that his parents instilled in him. (Jimmy Osmon)

I will always remember Uncle Sonny's wonderful smile! You could tell that he enjoyed his faith and family. I'm sorry I couldn't make it up there to be with all of the family, but my heart was there. Please know that you all will be in my prayers.

I will never meet a man with so much patience and understanding. It was a great privilege to be his son. He taught many so many things without ever saying anything. I hope I can be half the man he was. I will miss him dearly and I hope I can make him proud of me.

As my Father in Law I called him "Dad". He was a great champion of the faith and his life was a personal testimony for Jesus Christ.
He taught me several lessons but the greatest lesson was during his last few months of life as he continued to give thanks to God for each and every difficult breath he took. His faith rose above his circumstances. A great lesson in Burden and Blessing. He gave me so much and I miss him.

I feel blessed to have spent 53 wonderful years as his wife. Sonny was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. I will always miss you and I will always love you.

I feel honored to have been a daughter of Sonny Osmon. He was my teacher, my friend, my rock, and my hero. He taught me to enjoy nature, to be friendly to others, to be honest, and most of all, he taught me to love and serve Jesus Christ. I was with my Dad when I asked Jesus to come into my heart. Even though I have made many mistakes in life, my dad never stopped loving me and always was there when I needed him, and alway with loving, opened arms. Through this, I learned of God's...

We are so sorry for this great loss to your family. We know how deep this feels and will pray for your hearts healing as I know you will pray for ours also.

Uncle Sonny was a GREAT man. I'm sorry that I can't make it home to be with our family and friends in person. Please know that I am there in spirit and my heart and prayers are with the entire Osmon family, relatives, and friends. I've uploaded a few photos to share with everyone. I Love You! God Bless You.
