Not sure what to say?

Gus, Loved his stories but at the end of the day his love for baseball was what brought us together.....and then I found out how much he cared about people....whether it be thru, baseball coaching, family or work he truly loved people...Gus was a good guy...thinking of him brings a warm smile to my face....I hope his family cherish his memories. He was a special person. May God Bless!

Always enjoyed coaching Little League with Gus. Sorry to hear about his passing. Chuck Lichon

Larry taught me how to waterski from the alabaster cottage across Tawas bay to Jerry´s marina;also lots of perch fishing by alabaster crib with our father´s Stingrays played a concert at East Tawas community bldg. Dale put on quite a show playing drums all over the stage, long before dick Wagner and frost or boss men or terry knight and pack. Gus has given me a copy of the bands Cd. God bless all

Rest in peace my friend. I´ll never forget the good times we had playing and touring in the StingRays. You and I doing the drum/base duets was a first. Also, the times traveling around the state shooting off the 4th of July fireworks--what a blast. We had a lot of fond memories you and I. My prayers go out to Sandy and family. Your "little buddy" Dale

Sending sympathy to the family of former classmate at Arthur Hill High School.

Sorry for everyone's loss. . Gus was a friendly, humorous fellow .He would come in to Walgreens State & Center on a regular basis. He was the "NORM" from cheers as he entered the store . A newspaper , powder donuts & a pack of Marlboro Lights Soft pack occasionally. Yep he was a regular . We have missed him comming in and always will be missed .I personally have heard the story of his musician years in the band playing in Frankenmuth . Kerry Browning

Dear Sandy & family, I am so sorry to hear the sad news of Gus's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I have many fond memories of Gus from our little league era. Many you take comfort in all of your beautiful memories you have had together. Karen Napolitano (Goidosik)

Sandy, The story telling with me began on our way home from hockey games played at UofM and MSU when we were in high school after an exciting game when Gus and Paul LaChance would mix things up on the ice protecting their smaller team players. Many fond memories, may my ole hockey buddy RIP!!!!! Dick Crannell
