Not sure what to say?

What a guy. Ask anyone about him and you'd get a broad range of descriptives. He always said that it didn't bother him if people liked him or not, but they would respect him and remember him. That they have. He was unforgettable.

He also had an eye for real estate. It was instinctive, inherited from him mother, whom he admired for her determination to get what she wanted, like when she put up her furniture as collateral to get the money to buy a place. She was definitely not...

I remember visiting the Peterson farm in Litchfield when I was a child. Uncle Lawrence used to let me drive his tractor. His wife, Babe, was a wonderful woman. John Tewhey

I've known Heidi for almost 20 years, and Mr.P almost as long! He was so smart, not only about baking, but inventing, politics, and business. His generation knows the meaning of hard work and most important, passing on that knowledge to the next generation

Mr. P was a great baker with so much untapped knowledge of baking. I wish Id had more time to spend with him since he was also fun to be around and he always seemed to be able to tach me something new. Ill miss his ramdom phone calls about how Im progressing with my baking business. It is a terrible loss of such an interesting person and friend.

I am sorry to hear about Lawrence’s passing. I am glad I was able to meet him and get to know the independent, hard working individual he was. The stories of his inventiveness, independence and service during WWII will be part of the Peterson family history for generations.

"Thanks for sharing Pete's Obituary with us. He was the kind of man, kids would look up to. Coming from such a large family, I can understand how he became skilled and disciplined."

We will miss you, Uncle Pete. You and my Dad were bookends.

I've been friends with Heidi since the early 70s. We went
to meet her Dad and he took me through his warehouse of
baking equipment. He did have every baking gizmo known and some unknown because he made them. What I thought
was interesting, he would go into and give me the detailed
version. What a neat guy! I'll never forget that visit!
