Not sure what to say?

My Dad took accordion lessons when he was a young boy. My Dad and Larry Pino took accordion lessons from the same teacher. I always felt that I was Larry's favorite student. At age 14, I taught accordion lessons at the Larry Pino Conservatory. After I graduated from High School, I worked full time and continued teaching accordion lessons in the evening for Larry. activities.
I was talking to Larry years ago between the time period of 1995-1997. He told me that the integrity of his...

I miss you so much Larry Pino!!!

I first met Larry in the late 1950s. I remember he always had a smile on his face, had a great sense of humor, and would take the opportunity to give me or anyone else rosy cheeks if they were not prepared for an accordion lesson.

Larry was an incredible person. He had a passion for music and was an excellent teacher and mentor. He believed that music is fun and influenced the lives of so many people. My favorite memories as a young adult revolve around music and the activities...

Thank you Larry!

Deb and I had the great pleasure of knowing Larry for almost a quarter of a century, a short part of his life but a much larger part of ours. I met him at a time when both of our lives were in transition, and we developed a great friendship of mutual affection and respect. I was just entering academia, and Larry's education in music taught me as much about how students learn as it did about how to play music. I told Larry the very first day that I wanted to learn a few Irish tunes on the...

My condolences to Steve and the family. I took lessons and taught for Larry for years. Some of my fondest memories were with the accordion group. Larry could always get me to play songs I never thought I could. During his lessons he taught me so much more than music, got me thru my younger years with alot of practice up to 5 hrs a day for competitions. Wonderful times. Because of Larry and the symphony I still to this day have two of my best friends from this group. Thank you and God...

I'm so sorry for your loss. Larry was a great teacher, a great man, and loved his family very much.
He truly was the best. I took music and theory lessons from Larry for many years.
I was just listening to my Accordion records from our competitions in 1963-1965, in California.
We always won 1st place. Always. It's hard to believe how good we all were. Larry alway kept us so very motivated.
Just a bunch of kids having the time of our lives, going to California every...

My sincere condolences Steve to you and your family. I remember your Dad so well. The RV excursions with my Dad and Mr Brady to our B ball games. I know how much you loved him and admired him. Just a couple years ago you mentioned he was still living in his own place teaching music. That's amazing. God bless his soul and provide peace and comfort to all of you left behind. He lived an extraordinary life. I hope this isn't my second entry. Didn't see the first get posted
