Read MoreI went to high school with Larry and I always marveled at how he handled his handicap. He walked around campus as if he had full sight. We also enjoyed the hobby of Amateur Radio in common and often interfaced through that medium. I was thrilled (but not surprised) as his amazing career unfolded.

It was a privilege to work with Larry on several inter-agency projects many years ago. Through the strength of his advocacy, vast technology expertise, knowledge, and never-ending commitment, he made a multitude of contributions to improve the lives of people with disabilities, worldwide. Larry will also be remembered for his kindness, good humor, and sincerity - a man of outstanding character. Heartfelt sympathy is extended to his loving family.
