Not sure what to say?

We, here in Rockford, were very saddened to hear the news. Distance has not made us very close, but it doesn't stop the memories of a wonderful man and his family over the many years we were privileged to know. I thank God for putting you on my path of life. You will be missed dearly.

To Uncle Larry,

You and your family are the greatest family I have had the pleasure of medically taking care of. I loved Uncle Larry and think fondly of him and will miss him. P.S. Thank you Uncle Larry for introducing us to Mallow Cups. Becky and I are hooked! Maureen Schwartz, PA-C

Larry was the best GodPaPa a girl could have. He was and will forever be a very special person in the lives of my parents, Dick and Shirley Bender and all of us Bender children. We all grew up just a few doors down. The Schilling clan were always and continue to be a very important part of our family. Larry will be sorely missed as he always had a smile on his face and a song in his heart. He was a kind loving man and I am sure God has welcomed him with open arms. We Love You Larry......

Larry was pretty special to me and my entire family..I will always remember when he helped my dad build my room so that I could have my own space. He will be missed

"Lar" was my favorite brother in law, he was a very dear & kind hearted person and I will miss him so much. He & his wife were always there for me whenever I needed help. What will be missed the most is our chit-chats we always had to have when we got together.

My prayers will continue to be for him and his family.
All my love.
Your Sister in Law

Lydia, Thea and Larry Jr. Our lives have been touch by Larry in so many way. His love and care, assistance on any project a person had whether he knew how to do it, he alway found a way to do it, a great golf partner, wonderful smile. He was like a 2nd dad to me and I will miss him terribly. He is with God watching over you now. May god hold you in his loving arms and help bring comfort to you thru this time.

To the Schilling Family - There aren't words that can soften times like these but please know that the world was touched by a great man with Larry in our lives. When we would be at our grandparents - the Heggs - we would most always go across the street to see the Schillings. Larry always, always, always had a great story to tell with that big Larry smile and a great laugh. He never hesitated to welcome people to his home and treat every one of us as family and ask if we wanted some...

Uncle Larry was the most loving and toughest man that I know. I am saddened that he is gone and he will be deeply missed... but I feel that he is in a better place - with all the angels and in God's love. He will always be in my heart and prayers.

Aunt Thea, Lydia, and Lil Larry.. all of my prayers are with you and my sincere condolences.
All my love... Butch

Virg is right, Larry did have a wonderful smile. He loved passing out candy to the kids. Zach loved him and always called him PopPop and loved riding in PopPop's truck. Larry was a builder, mechanic, handyman, tailor, artist - I don't think there was anything he could not build or fix. He was a hard worker. I will miss him.
