Larry Shepley was my best friend. There is a huge emptiness in my life now that he is gone. I will miss him more than words can say. Larry, thanks for everything!

Larry was a good friend, an important part of Gilbert & Sullivan activities in Austin, and a man whose sense of humor and style enlivened any occasion where he was present. I know that he was important to generations of physics students. I will personally remember him as a friend, colleague on the board, and fellow Savoyard.
