Not sure what to say?

Larry made a difference in many peoples lives. He touched mine, was a colleague, a friend and mentor. I will always remember him.

Larry Sherr was part of a team of faculty who hired me as an Assistant Professor of Business in the University of Kansas in Spring 1978. I started there in August 1978. Larry was my mentor through the years until he retired. When I was appointed as Ronald G. Harper Professor of Artificial Intelligence in 1994, Larry introduced me to the group of distinguished professors at KU. Larry was a great mentor, a wonderful colleague, and a best friend. It is humbling to remember him today, four years...

I was saddened to read about the passing of Professor Sherr. I will never forget attending the undergraduate class that Professor Sherr taught! Our class met in one of the auditoriums in Wescoe Hall. Even though the room was filled with about 300 students, you could hear and see Professor Sherr's passion for his teaching throughout the entire auditorium! He was the ultimate professional and served as a role model for us as students. Please accept my deepest sympathies.

Professor Sherr was an immensely talented educator. He changed the course of my career, and I use tools he shared every day. He was also a great friend to my father and our family was richer for knowing Larry and Suzanne personally.
I loved his laugh and sense of irony and humor.
Sending warm memories, prayers and best wishes at this time to the whole family, Wini Pinet

He was a mentor to my wife, who taught the large lecture in statistics using the slides he had prepared. After he moved into Bella Sera, he invited my colleague Steve Hillmer and I to dinner, to show the best features of the Condominium. A few...

We started in Bella Sera about the same time
and were neighbors. We share in Suzanne"s time of sorrow and want to express our condolences to her. We loved Larry too.
