Not sure what to say?

Very sad to hear of Buds Passing.

Bud was not only my coach/friend but a true HERO. He had no idea how much I respected and looked up to him. He taught me numerous things but the one valuable thing that I still use today.
" Just Focus and Keep pushing Toward the Target"
Bud would tell me stories about the Navy, life lessons , everyday conversation and a joke or two in between.
I have never met anybody like Bud!
He will be missed

To the Simon Family,

On behalf of the Charleston Base SUBVETS and Swamp Fox Chapter SUBVETS WWII, I offer you our sincere condolences on Bud's passing. We grieve with you on the loss of your loved one and all SUBVETS and their families have your family in our thoughts and prayers. There is no expiration date on the back of our dolphins and Bud will always be remembered as a Brother of the Phin, a member of our Greatest Generation, and a great Patriot.

My deepest sympathy to the family of Bud Simon.
I got to know of Bud and his wonderful work at the JOAD program at Clairton Sportsman's Club. I took my nephews and they greatly benefitted by Bud's endless patience and knowledge. They were taught to respect archery, themselves and others which was an extremely valuable life lesson. I give Bud the credit for that. I can never express my respect and love for Bud and all he has done for so many children. We were all so fortunate to have had...

Gone is a GREAT human being. Thank you Lois for guiding Bud to archery. Melynda Sleith family
