Lawrence Paul Temkin

I thought of him the other day and googled him to see what he was up to. I worked for him at the University and helped hire his last secretary. Spoke to him on the phone when I was in Hawaii and he said I was the best secretary he ever had because I picked out his new secretary and she was still with him in private practice. We had numerous laughs when I worked for him, one time I told him I cleaned up his desk, he turned white and ran to his office, I'm sure he remained the same through...

My thoughts and prayers are with the family of Larry´s. I worked with him thru the 80,90, and 2000. Many hours in the cath lab. A great man and friend with a humor like no other. He will be surely missed.

Dear Barbara and Family; I am so very sad to hear of Larry´s passing. He was one of my favorite mentors during my internship and residency at the U of A. One of my favorite memories of him is a saying of his that I used to repeat, (always giving Larry the credit), regarding Medicine in general, "Sometimes the magic works; sometimes it doesn´t."
