Dear Barbara and Family; I am so very sad to hear of Larry´s passing. He was one of my favorite mentors during my internship and residency at the U of A. One of my favorite memories of him is a saying of his that I used to repeat, (always giving Larry the credit), regarding Medicine in general, "Sometimes the magic works; sometimes it doesn´t."
