Not sure what to say?

Larry was my first "love" when we were 16 yrs of age, back in the late 1940s. I'm glad he lived a successful life, with wife and children. I have very happy memories of our romance together... Love always, Sara Falk Moser

Dear Barbara and Ben, An unrelated email from David T. today prompted me to Google you...and I was deeply saddened to learn about Larry's death. Family for a while, but wonderful memories forever. Please accept my condolences. Sincerely, Robin Shaw

Max and I met Larry in Ulpan during his time in Jerusalem. He became a good friend, sharing with us the discovering of Israel. Over the years we would hear about him from time to time from Chaim and Rosa Gofin and now we read that our friend from those years, Ellen Hirsch, also knew Larry. It is sad that we lost contact.

Barbara, what a beautiful, beautiful tribute to Larry you wrote in the AJC.With the photo you could almost feel his presence. I had the pleasure to know him back in 1976 while we refinanced Colonial Homes apartmnents, we became good friends, you both were kind enough to attend Beth and my wedding and gave us a lovely gift. We were both good frinds with Joe Thompson. I know you 2 must have had wonderful times together. I would have loved to been at the memorial service, but got the notice too...

My sincerest condolences to the Thorpe family. He surley knew how to live. May your cherished memories, your loved ones and the comfort we may receive through prayer help you through these difficult times. Ps. 34:17, 18.

Today's news brought memories of Larry flooding back, from high school days in Pittsburgh to his mid-llife sabbatical in Israel. Recently I came across a photo of Larry, Barbara and a very young Ben at a Shabbat dinner at my mother's house, across the road from their rented flat. Larry had come, not on a ten-day tour, but with a serious commitment to learn. His enthusiasm was boundless; his commitment was inspiring; his mind was open. Though we met infrequently in later years, I counted him...

I'm sorry for your lost. May your family rely on God in this time of grief.

So sorry to hear of Larry's passing. He was always gracious but we are sorry that we lost touch in the last few years.
He was one of my few remaining first cousins.

Dearest Barbara and Karen
You and the family are in my prayers. Trust in Jehovah to get you through this trying, stressful and emotional time. He is always at your side.
