Not sure what to say?

Lucy, Charles & Edward,

Please except Carol's and my heart felt sadness during this time. Our prayers are with you. I will miss him tremendously. You may not be aware just how positively Larry influenced my life during those great years we all had at the "University of Kalorama". I always thought that I would get a chance to share that with him, not knowing that sooner would over take later.

Thanks for "The Best of Times"

Lewis and Carol Christian

Dear Lucy and family,
Please except my deepest sympathy. I, as I'm sure most of us, are still in a state of disbelief. Larry had a profound effect on my life. We all shared so many memorable, crazy times. I always looked forward to the next time we would meet even though years have gone by. Since Larry seemed bigger than life, I must assume he will remain so. Robert

Dearest Lucy and Family,
I am so sorry to hear about Larry. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Larry was larger than life and his heart was even larger!! I will never forget all our Opera ventures together. The limo in Portland with the gang was a night at the Opera! But...my favorite was when we went to see Frank conduct and Larry out Diva'd me showing up with his full length mink and hat. Another surprise costume!
What a lovely and wonderful man to play with!...

My friendship with Larry brought me much happiness. His passion, brilliance and love of life was unequaled. I will miss him, do miss him, and will never forget him.

Dear Lucy, Charles, Edward, Louise, and John, Larry was one of the most unique and amazing individuals I have ever come to know. He lived life to the fullest and was a fountain of knowledge. I am a better person because of Larry Vinis.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of Larry. He truly was a unique and extraordinary person. I always admired his passion for life and his compassion for others. We are all better people for the blessing of having Larry as part of our lives. My prayers are with Lucy, Charles, Ned, Louise, John and all that loved Larry at this time.

He had the greatest capacity for compassion of anyone I have ever met. And he loved life and all the people and things that moved within its domain.

I will miss him a lot, more than I can say.

On behalf of the entire Eugene Opera family, I would like to extend our deepest condolences and sympathy to you. Larry had a passion for opera where ever he could find it, and his passing leaves a void in our common artistic and personal lives. He will be very much missed; he was much loved.

Lucy, Charles & Edward:
At every stage in his life, Larry shared his warmth and made many friendships it seems effortlessly. Our lives were made much richer for having known him.
