Not sure what to say?

This is still so painful. After listening to what Chris said at the memorial, I realized that Larry truly was a man who reached enlightenment in a previous life. He gave so much to us and he did help us reach our musical dreams. I never could have achieved what I did without all that he gave to me.I will never forget my mentor, my teacher, my dear friend.

Larry simply enjoyed life--and people. It wasn't about how talented they were.
He enjoyed hanging with the stars or the stagehands.
His life is a wonderful lesson in humility.

You left us way too early.

A kind and talented human being. That is you Larry.I will miss you.

A kinder, more selfless human being I have never met. Always a smile on his face and a kind word. Great musician. I will miss him. My deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.

i met Larry when I was 11.He was like a father to me.Nearly Everything I know and all my great friends I attribute to Larry.A genius who helped others fulfill their dreams of artistic expression.I cant tell you how many Sinatra charts he revised while copying for free becuase as he would say"I cant return this to them with these changes"He would take the extra time to fix wrong charts.I believe Larry was a "Bodhisatva"A Buddhist term for a being who has completed their trials in a past life...

A more humble, brilliant light I never met! Dear Larry, how you helped me through the years with my compositions, always encouraging me to believe my work is as valid as anyone's. And the never ending stories, personal and musical, the laughter, the jokes. Yes, a true Zen master. My love and condolences to Larry's family and our musical community. May your light shine on!

An unassuming, selfless genius with the most gentle soul I've ever known. Dearest Larry, bet it never crossed your mind just how loved you were (and will always be) by all who were lucky enough to have known you. Bet it never crossed your mind the impact you made in the music world. And that is precisely the reason why you have always had a special place in my heart. See you in Summerland!

I did not get to work with larry nearly enough. Kind and careing and alway able to bring a smile or a chuckle at any given moment. A truly musical man with talent puring from his heart. I will miss you but everytime I hear your work you are alive.

When I saw "RE: Larry Warrilow" in the subject window from Dan's email, my heart sank. It's like I already knew. I had worked with him maybe a month or so before, and it was difficult to see how far his health had declined. Thank you for all the great music, Larry. Your creativity and love for the art of great music was definitely an inspiration to not only me, but to everyone who heard your music, played your charts or got to know you. You will be missed. "Life does end, but memories will...
