The picture of Ed in the obits is as I remember him in the late 50's when I was an engineer at Monroe. During that time we made the move from SW Water to the River Road plant.Ed was one fine man and exec.-- always an attentive and respectful listener. With "Monty" at the helm, Fred Wiencken, John Gleason and Ed all worked to make it a great company family--such as is rarely found today. Ed will long be fondly remembered in this household.

I was very sorry to read of the passing of our uncle in the Oregonian. My sister and I spent so much time with he and Katie. They were a wonderful part of our lives. God Bless.

I will always remember Mr. Wise. When I was a college kid we talked many times about business and doing well. He was a very good neighbor too.
